There are a many solutions to extend the range of any Wireless setup. We find the best solution to be the most simple one: use a higher gain antenna.
Extend the range of your wireless receiver
You can easily extend your wireless signal range by using a higher gain antenna, or a directional antenna. These last ones allow you to 'focus' your incoming signal directly from the transmitter, without "hearing" other noise that may be being generated from other wireless sources.

In a point-to-multipoint transmission, it's recommended placing an omni-directional antenna at the transmitter side, and a directional one at each receiver. This way you can still have multipoint receivers, and narrow the incoming signal from the correct source.

"Typically when you increase the gain on an antenna the RF gain pattern becomes more focused and produces a narrower horizontal beam."
