The celexon HDMI cable with Ethernet is HDMI 2.0 compliant and thus transmits signals at up to 18 Gbps with resolutions up to 4K (4096x2160p @ 60 Hz with 8 bit color depth) and 4K HDR with 10 bit color depth. With the help of HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, a greater dynamic and color range can be displayed, making the picture more brilliant and detailed. With the HDMI plug on one side and the HDMI socket on the other, the adapter can be used as a portsaver, protecting the connections of sensitive devices, or as a short extension.
The additional advantage of the cable adapter over a rigid plug adapter is that the device sockets are less stressed.
The additional Ethernet channel makes it possible to connect Internet-capable AV components to the in-house network only via HDMI cable. It is therefore sufficient if the TV is connected to the network via cable. The AV receiver or Blue-Ray player then receives, in addition to the actual video signal, also the network via HDMI cable. This eliminates the need for a network switch and additional cables.*
