The opening ceremony of the Champions League final was held by the Black Eyed Peas, the American hip hop/dance group, who performed live with a medley of their biggest hits. It was six minutes of performance animated by 150 professional dancers with colourful choreographies and a spectacular flame show with 9 Wave Flamers from EXPLO lighting up the stadium.

The final, which is the most-watched annual sporting event in the world, was played at the National Stadium of Wales in Cardiff on Saturday 3rd June and was aired in more than 220 markets. Football fans in the stadium and around the world enjoyed a fantastic and upbeat performance just moments before holders Real Madrid took on Juventus in the showpiece fixture of the European club football calendar.
