FWD-85XR70 è un display 4K da 85" della serie BRAVIA 7, progettato per offrire immagini straordinariamente realistiche e un'esperienza, sia video che audio, coinvolgente. 

Questo modello sfrutta la tecnologia Mini LED con controllo locale della retroilluminazione (XR Backlight Master Drive), che consente di ottenere neri profondi e un contrasto dinamico elevato, simile a quello dei monitor professionali utilizzati negli studi di post-produzione cinematografica. Il processore XR con riconoscimento delle scene analizza e ottimizza ogni fotogramma con precisione, restituendo colori naturali e dettagli vividi grazie al sistema XR Triluminos Pro. Anche le immagini in rapido movimento risultano fluide e nitide grazie alla tecnologia XR Motion Clarity.

Il comparto audio prevede il sistema Acoustic Multi Audio con speaker laterali e il 3D Surround Upscaling crea un effetto surround virtuale dall'alto e dai lati, utilizzando solo gli altoparlanti del TV. Anche l'audio a 2 canali e 5.1 canali viene convertito in un suono immersivo a 5.1.2 canali. Inoltre, il supporto Dolby Atmos e DTS:X offre un suono spaziale unico.
