At the 19th edition of the Mirano Summer Festival, one of the most anticipated music events in Northeast Italy, Marco Mazzon Sound & Lights was in charge of the entire lighting system. To meet the demands of an open-air live show, with a diverse line-up and tight setup schedules, the team chose to work with an Avolites T3 console paired with a T3 Fader Wing one of the flagship solutions from the renowned London-based manufacturer. The choice was highly appreciated by the light designer as well.
Held from June 27 to July 20, the Mirano Summer Festival has become a summer staple in the Veneto region, attracting thousands of spectators every night. To deliver a lighting show that lived up to expectations, the organizers turned to the twenty years of expertise offered by Marco Mazzon Sound & Lights.
The challenge
Managing an event of this scale means facing a series of technical and logistical challenges that call for experience, speed, and precision. Staging in an outdoor area requires careful consideration of environmental factors such as remaining natural light, weather conditions, and visibility from different audience perspectives.
Adding to the complexity is a highly diverse artistic program, ranging from pop and rock to electronic music. Each performer requires a unique visual identity, with specific scenic and rhythmic needs. Setup and programming time, as always, was limited, and the technical team needed to ensure a fast, reliable, and adaptable workflow.
In this context, the choice of console was crucial: the team needed a compact yet powerful tool, capable of handling a complex rig while providing full real-time control during the show.
The solution
To meet these requirements, Marco Mazzon, head of the Musile di Piave (VE)-based service company and long-standing Audio Effetti customer, together with operator Fabio Roder, opted for the Avolites T3 lighting console, supported by a T3 Fader Wing.
This setup combined the portability and processing power of the T3 with the physical extension of the faders, ensuring immediate and intuitive control even under pressure. At the core of the platform, the Titan operating system provided a flexible and customizable interface, perfect for managing complex cues and quickly adapting to last-minute changes in the running order.
Programming was carried out partly in pre-show, with the option for live adjustments and manual overrides thanks to the responsiveness of the system. This allowed the technical team to deliver a dynamic light show, consistent with each artist’s identity and perfectly synchronized with the music.

The results
The final outcome was a show that captivated the audience and enhanced every performance on stage. Lighting accompanied the music seamlessly, creating the right atmosphere for each moment.
As Fabio Roder noted:“Transitions between artists were smooth, with no interruptions or technical issues, confirming the reliability of the system. The combination of the Avolites T3 console and Fader Wing proved to be a winning choice, offering full control in a compact workspace. The audience responded enthusiastically, and the artists themselves appreciated the quality of the production.”
Ultimately, the work of Marco Mazzon Sound & Lights reaffirmed the importance of a skilled technical service—one that blends creativity, technology, and precision. Above all, it showcased the power of Avolites T3, a tool capable of shaping light at its very best.
