HybridLineSource Series 2-way passive loudspeaker, equipped with internal passive crossover, designed to deliver high-quality audio performance in various applications.
It employs two 8" woofers with neodymium magnet and two 1.4" compression tweeters, which together ensure uniform sound coverage. The LineSource type HF unit as a whole, consists of two speakers equipped with a special polymer diaphragm that coupled with the waveformers generates a cylindrical wavefront with a vertical opening angle of 40°.
Therefore, the HybridLineSource system throw is comparable to that of a Line Array.
With a nominal power of 700 W and a peak power of 2800 W, the loudspeaker is capable of handling high sound pressure levels. It offers a coverage angle of 100° x 40°, ideal for a wide and controlled distribution of sound energy.
The world's unique HybridLineSource technology contributes to clear and precise sound reproduction without distortion. It achieves an efficiency of 105 dB/W/m in the mid / low range. It also drastically reduces the space required for transporting the system.
hd HLS16P features an integrated FastRig 3-point rigging system, which makes it easy to set up and position the speaker. Using the FastRig anchoring system, you can fine-tune the angle between the individual speakers from 0° to 16° in 4° increments. It is designed to deliver undistorted sound up to 137 dBSPL, making it suitable for live events, fixed installations and other professional applications. The special Super Vented design enables, in applications without additional subwoofers, dynamic and wideband reproduction up to 70 Hz in full-range mode.
With a weight of 23 kg, it is relatively easy to transport and set up.
