The celexon DisplayPort cable complies with version 1.2 and transmits signals up to 21.6 Gbps at resolutions up to 4K (4096 x 2160p 60 with 10-bit color depth). Thanks to 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, all brightness and image information is optimally transmitted.
Multi-stream transport (MST) mode allows you to control multiple monitors via your PC's DisplayPort interface. There are two ways to use this feature: via daisy chain, multiple monitors can be switched on sequentially, or the monitors can be connected via an additional DisplayPort MST hub.
The number of displays that can be connected via MST depends on the resolution of the individual displays; for example, you can connect four displays with a Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080p 60).
Displays connected via daisy chain, except for the last display in the chain, must have a DisplayPort receiver and transmitter so they can send and receive the video stream addressed to the display itself and the other components in the chain. As soon as the monitor extracts the video and audio stream addressed to it, the device transmits the remaining video and audio stream along the chain. Each monitor in the daisy chain must have all the information.
The alternative method for using MST with multiple displays requires an MST hub. The MST hub splits the entire bandwidth of a DisplayPort output and, for example, allows the sending of four independent Full HD signals at 60 Hz. MST hubs can distribute these video signals (with audio) to the connected monitors. This type of configuration also allows the use of displays with different inputs.
Professional Line DisplayPort cables are triple-shielded and, thanks to gold-plated contacts, are corrosion-resistant and ensure reliable signal transmission.
The celexon Professional Line series stands out for its reliability, meticulous workmanship, and elegant design.
