Passive 2-way bass-reflex speaker featuring a 10" coaxial driver with 1.4" tweeter and dual neodymium magnet with 3" / 2.5" voice coil. A sophisticated, precision-engineered crossover ensures the two drivers are matched at a cut-off frequency of 1100 Hz, making the 10CXN sound clear and distinct.
The 2.5" voice coil compression driver uses the same magnet assembly as the woofer and is connected directly to the cone membrane via a BEM-optimized waveguide. This means that there are no acoustic shadows or reflections on the woofer membrane caused by an external horn.
The hd 10CXN has a 75° conical emission without a separate horn. The SuperVented cabinet design in combination with an extremely durable 3" voice coil of the woofer coupled with the latest generation neodymium magnet geometry assembly makes the 10CXN a high-performance full-range loudspeaker.
It can be driven via any power amplifier, even without DSP, making the hd 10CXN the optimal solution for sound reinforcement tasks in high-quality mobile or permanent installations, for example, theaters, sports or industrial facilities.
The hd 10CXN unfolds its full potential in combination with an HD system amplifier. An absolutely flat frequency response with linear phase behavior allows for even more natural reproduction and feedback suppression at all levels.
The cabinet is made of plywood and has a shock- and weather-resistant polyurethane coating as well as an elegant, rounded black steel grille. For permanent installation, M6 and M8 input threads are available to allow the use of standardized wall brackets or a flying bracket.
The integrated 35 mm adapter allows use on a tripod as a front system, while two monitoring angles of 35° and 45° are possible. Three speakON ports, two on the back and one on the bottom, ensure discreet and kink-free cabling. An ergonomic carrying handle is located on the back.
