This award-winning software combines two powerful tools: a visual effects generator and an LED lighting controller. From the smallest to the largest projects, MADRIX 5 can produce a complete LED light show from a standard computer or laptop. The library already includes a wide variety of fixture profiles; use the Fixture Editor to create your own profiles. With MADRIX 5.5, it's easy to manage the wide range of fixtures, such as pars, tiles, pipes, ribbons, curtains, video screens, and more.
Combine DMX and DVI-based LED products as needed, use different device types in the same configuration, and control the entire installation or just parts of it.
Furthermore, the software includes a full range of useful and productive tools: Fixture Editor and Art-Net Time Code Sender. With the 5.x release, one of the most requested features from the MADRIX community has finally arrived: visual feedback on MIDI controllers, including four MIDI maps for controllers like the AKAI Professional APC 40 mkII. MIDI Button Feedback is now available and makes using your lighting rig much more efficient. Not only that, but exciting new features and improved workflows will take pixel mapping to the next level. For example, Timelines (including the Timeline editor and multiple Cue Lists), which add a whole new way to working with MADRIX, allow you to create incredible light shows synchronized with music. Based on Time Code, you can use the sequence to trigger cue segments at exactly the right time and synchronize the lighting with the audio, which is displayed in waveforms. MADRIX 5 itself can become the Time Code master. Or Fixture Replacement, where you can now quickly replace the profiles of already patched fixtures in the patch editor. Whether it's the increased number of 256 remotely controlled Fixture Groups, brand-new options for defining the exact start frame of effects, support for multiple Cue Lists, DXD conversion of record files for MADRIX AURA, or one of many other features, MADRIX 5 includes a wide range of improvements for new workflows.
MADRIX 5 supports many industry standards for output, including: DMX-512, Art-Net, sACN, KiNET, Philips Hue, SPI (via MADRIX NEBULA), and DVI. For input and remote control, it integrates: Art-Net, ASIO, Blackmagic, CITP, MA-Net, MIDI, NDI, Remote HTTP, Spout, and Time Code.
The maximum license allows control of 1,048,576 DMX channels across 2048 universes and up to 2,097,152 DVI voxels.

Timelines
Offer unprecedented possibilities to create light shows that sync to music. Based on time code and sequencing, you can trigger segments at exactly the right time and synchronize your lighting to audio, which is shown in waveforms. In this case, MADRIX 5 itself can become the Time-Code sender.
Multiple cue lists
Cue Lists are automated playlists. The playback of effects and visuals can be precisely scheduled in hours, minutes, seconds, and frames. Time code can be received from Art-Net, MIDI, SMPTE, or taken from the system's time. Synchronize time and equipment across lighting systems and shows.
LED fixtures
The library already includes a large variety of fixture profiles. Use 1-channel, 2-channel, RGB, or RGBW fixtures, or any variant of these. Use the Fixture Editor for your own profiles. Adjusting your videos and tuning their colors is now possible in MADRIX 5 with a new control for HSB [hue, saturation, brightness] as well as contrast.
S2L EQ/spectrum
S2L EQ/spectrum is one of the most important MADRIX Effects. Equipped with new effect parameters, it makes more fun than ever to create your favorite audio spectrum analyzers. As always, it is a live effect that is displayed in real time.
Performance
MADRIX 5 massively improves the performance across the board. During the testing phase, we easily saw up to 50% reduced load. With just a software update, your existing system can now control larger setups, use more effects or filters, or simply run much cooler. Single MADRIX Effects have also been reworked. The previews have been updated. Patches that are tall and wide, but make use of a lot of space and don't include lighting fixtures everywhere, will see the biggest improvements.

Recording over network is an incredible feature to record directly to MADRIX AURA. Now, regular record files can record up to 32 universes and can be converted directly in the software for MADRIX AURA 2/8/32.
