The latest version of Depence R3 Stage Module software provides real-time design and visualization features for conventional and intelligent virtual lighting fixtures used in the field of stage lighting.
First things first, accurate beam rendering: physical based real-time raytraced lighting beams are used to render high-quality and realistically accurate beams of light. With adjustable cloud and haze parameters you can instantly change the look of the scene.
Depence offers full PBR (Physically Based Rendering) capabilities and a comprehensive library of PBR materials. All physical parameters of the surface such as roughness, reflections, metallization, etc. are combined to render natural looking surfaces. Tone mapping and color correction algorithms will ensure realistic representation of colors according to intensity.
The processing engine supports all types of grouped multi-LED fixtures, which are also individually controllable. The position of each individual LED can be adjusted to match the original appearance of the luminaire and its light distribution.
Depence R3 Stage Module comes with a library of over 1500 truss elements. Using simple Drop & Drop you can build any truss extremely quickly. Custom 3D trusses are procedurally generated within the software.
Innovative design tools dramatically speed up the process by allowing you to automatically hang multiple fixture combinations on trusses in a single action.
Finally, we have the “Import & Export” functionality: Depence supports the new MVR file format introduced by VectorWorks to exchange entire stages including 3D models and fixture patching. Furthermore, it is possible to import patch files from grandMA and others in form of XML or CSV files.
