CueCore3 is a compact, solid-state architectural controller with no moving parts or fans: the most powerful ever made by Visual Productions. Designed for 24/7 non-stop stand-alone operation, i
t has an internal web server for configuration and programming. Plays lighting shows, static scenes and dynamic effects. The unit can be programmed to respond to a variety of incoming protocols or scheduled by date and time. In short, it offers a lot of power in an ultra-compact size.
Main features
More capacity
CueCore3's expanded CPU and memory capabilities allow for more power and more functionalities. The number of playbacks has been increased to 16. The DMX recording memory is now 6 GB, approximately 200 times larger than in CueCore2. The maximum number of sources, actions and tasks has also been significantly increased.
More channels
CueCore3 features four DMX ports, each bi-directional and optically isolated. The four DMX universes are also available via Art-Net, sACN and KiNet.
Record DMX or the program via the web interface
Light shows designed on third-party consoles can be easily recorded inside the CueCore3. It also offers features to help create seamless loops in your recording. Recording of external shows can be done via DMX, Art-Net or sACN. Alternatively, you can program your own scenes through CueCore3's fast web interface.
Full RDM functionality
The CueCore3 is a complete RDM controller. It features discovery, changing addresses, and reading status information.
System integration
This controller offers the same impressive collection of protocols that make the CueCore range so powerful. From typical lighting ones such as DMX-512, Art-Net, sACN and KiNet to those that allow you to interact with any type of non-lighting equipment such as GPI, MIDI, UDP, TCP and OSC. It also supports SMPTE and MTC Time Code.
Compatible with the previous CueCore family
The CueCore3 is the distinctive member of a family of products that includes the DaliCore, for DALI control, IoCore for additional GPI, GPO and RS-232 ports, the B-Station wall push button, Kiosc Touch (a wall mounted touch screen with customizable dashboard) and DIN rail DMX tools such as RdmSplitter and DmxMerger.
Show-control and automation
The autonomous behavior of the controller can be customized using flexible show control programming, which allows you to automate the playback of the show. You can define triggers based on any incoming protocol and convert signals from one protocol to another. A date/time/day of the week programmer is also available.
Possibility of expansion
CueCore3's scalable design allows for implementation in small and large projects. Stand-alone operation of a single CueCore3 is often sufficient for a small installation, while a grid of multiple networked CueCores satisfies the capacity required by large lighting systems. The CueCore3 features a smooth master-slave protocol for synchronizing multiple units.
Supported by various software tools
CueCore3 comes bundled with various software tools. CueluxPro is a software-based lighting console that allows you to create content that can be loaded into CueCore3's internal memory. vManager allows you to discover multiple CueCores on the network, back up internal data, and update firmware. There's also Kiosc, a simple program for creating custom touch-screen user interfaces.
