BLAZE is the first motorized moving head produced by tarm to use, as a light source, a 100 W white laser with exceptional brightness and densely saturated colors thanks to extremely efficient optics.
Following decades of laser research, tarm BLAZE has reached the pinnacle with minimal optical loss, bringing the illuminance to an incredible 170,000 lx at 20 m, with a minimum beam angle of 0.7°, making the 100 W laser source significantly outperform similar systems.
The newly developed zoom capabilities allow the unit to control the deflection angle between 0.7° and 5°, which resembles an almost parallel beam with extremely low divergence and therefore great visibility over long distances. The newly developed advanced lens system shapes the beam to have incredibly sharp edges while maintaining a homogeneous and pleasant distribution of illumination at the spot. The optic diameter is 180 mm.
tarm BLAZE allows a very fast Pan movement over a rotation angle of 540° and Tilt of 270°.
It features CMY color mixing and a 19 color wheel + white, 19 static and 6 rotating Gobos, bi-directional frost filter, a 16-facet radial prism and a 6-facet linear prism with bi-directional rotation, which can be combined together to unleash your creativity.
This sophisticated unit can be controlled using all major communication protocols and standard connectors such as DMX512, Art-Net, RDM and sACN and W-DMX. Indoor or outdoor use is your choice as BLAZE is IP66 waterproof for extreme outdoor conditions reaching temperature ranges from -20 to +45 °C.
The fixture is extremely durable and made for demanding tours worldwide. For easy handling and transportation, tarm supplies the Beam moving head in a high-density foam shell, which can be used directly in customer-specific flight cases.
