The DMX Adapter is an accessory designed to extend the functionality of external ShowNET interfaces by adding DMX IN/OUT connectivity through a compact, easy-to-integrate module. Connected between the ShowNET ILDA output and the laser via an ILDA cable, the adapter uses dedicated ILDA pins to provide full DMX control without requiring hardware modifications to the laser or control network.
In addition to managing DMX input and output, the device allows the ShowNET to operate as an ArtNET ↔ DMX converter, enabling the integration of lasers into complex hybrid lighting setups. This versatility makes it ideal for installations where lasers, lighting consoles, and control software must communicate seamlessly.
The DMX Adapter is compatible with Showeditor and Showcontroller software and with all operating modes supported by ShowNET, including internal presets and stand-alone control. Thanks to its lightweight and rugged construction, it is a practical solution for quickly expanding the control capabilities of a laser system, both in fixed installations and rental environments.
