The VTC‑100 is a next-generation PTZ camera designed by Datavideo to deliver extremely smooth automatic shooting. It features a dual-lens system that combines a 110° wide-angle lens with a second PTZ lens featuring 12x optical zoom: the panoramic lens detects the scene and identifies the active speaker, while the PTZ lens provides tight, dynamic framing. Thanks to AI processing, the camera recognizes the voice and the source, automatically tracking and framing without human intervention.

The image sensor is a 1/2.8" Sony CMOS with 2.14 effective Mpixels, capable of producing videos up to 1080p 60 with a signal-to-noise ratio of 45 dB or higher. The lens offers a focal range of 4.1 to 49.2 mm, with an aperture of F1.6 – F2.8, while image processing includes functions such as WDR, 2D/3D noise reduction, automatic or manual white balance, automatic or manual focus, and backlight exposure compensation. The PTZ mechanism allows for wide and precise movements, with horizontal rotation of ±130° and tilt from +90° to -30°, variable speeds from 0.2°/s up to 90°/s in pan and 60°/s in tilt, as well as 254 recallable presets.

Connectivity is particularly comprehensive: the VTC-100 offers HDMI 1.4b outputs, 3G-SDI, IP streaming via RJ45, UVC for Plug & Play, and support for major control protocols, including VISCA, VISCA over IP, Pelco-D/P, ONVIF, DVIP, and NDI|HX3. Streaming is compatible with RTSP, RTMP(S), SRT, ONVIF, and multicast, with configurable dual streams and bitrates up to 20 Mbps. Mini-jack and USB-A audio inputs for microphones are available, supporting AAC, PCM, and G.711 formats. The camera can be controlled via IR remote control, RS-232/RS-422 interfaces, Datavideo hardware controller, or web interface.

The particularly compact design and low weight of 2 kg facilitate installation on a wall, ceiling, or tripod, while PoE power simplifies cabling. The VTC-100 comes with an IR remote control and power supply.
