Compact and lightweight 2/3" B4 mount 4K zoom lens designed for the Blackmagic URSA Broadcast camera, 16x zoom, electronic back focus adjustment, macro, only for Blackmagic dealer / distributors (limited distribution)
The Fujinon LA16X8BRM-XB1A 2/3" B4 mount 4K lens is a compact and lightweight 8 - 128 mm zoom lens (163.8 mm long and 1.6 kg in weight) designed for the Blackmagic URSA Broadcast camera.
It offers the highest optical quality in 4K, delivering sharp, detailed images.
One of its most advanced features is electronic back focus adjustment, which allows for fast and efficient adjustments to achieve the best possible sharpness. In addition, the macro function allows you to focus on subjects as close as 5cm, thanks to a unique focus ring, ideal for capturing close-up details with extreme precision.
The combination of fluorite ED (extra-low dispersion) and Super ED elements minimizes chromatic aberration and delivers clear, sharp images. To make the most of the extended dynamic range offered by HDR cameras, reflections have been rigorously suppressed by special lens surface coatings and faithfully conveys the "blacks" that are important in rendering video images.
This lens offers high-end optical performance, combined with great versatility and ease of use, making it an excellent choice for video production professionals.
Available exclusively from Blackmagic Design distributors.
User benefits
- Multi-group zoom system: by using a multi-group zoom structure, spherical aberrations are suppressed throughout the zoom range from wide angle to telephoto, ensuring high image quality
- The use of a high-precision, large-aperture aspherical element ensures high MTF all the way to the edges
- More than three times higher lens surface processing precision than HD, contributing to better image quality
- A new anti-reflection coating system (HT-EBC) ensures a reflection of 0.2% or less across a wide wavelength range, minimizing surface reflection of the lens, and achieving truer blacks
- Ghosting and flare suppression by optimizing the internal shape of the lens barrel and its surface treatment
- Natural bokeh due to using a 9-blade diaphragm
- Lightweight
- Electronic back focus adjustment
- Macro capability
