The PUV‑1082‑PRO is a 10 × 10 HDMI/HDBaseT matrix switcher designed for high-end AV installations and based on the PUV‑1082‑4K22 architecture.

It handles the transmission of video signals up to 4K UHD 10/12-bit HDR and Dolby Vision, with HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0, from 10 HDMI sources to 8 HDBaseT outputs and 2 independent HDMI outputs at 18 Gbps. Thanks to AVLC technology, it allows signal transmission at up to 18 Gbps despite the 10.2 Gbps limit of HDBaseT, ensuring a visually lossless 4K 6G image on the display. The system allows the extension of 4K sources up to 4K @ 60 Hz 4:4:4 8-bit and 10/12-bit HDR content to compatible receivers.

The matrix integrates independent video scaling functions on all HDMI and HDBaseT outputs, useful for distributing 4K HDR content to 1080p displays within the same installation. It handles HD audio formats such as LPCM 7.1 CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos, and DTS-HD Master Audio.

The PUV-1082-PRO integrates an independent audio matrix with 14 outputs and 10 inputs, which can be used for HDMI audio de-embedding and embedding to HDMI and HDBaseT outputs. CAT audio connections allow integration with remote bidirectional audio modules and the management of distant audio zones. Dedicated controls are available for volume, mute, treble, bass, and audio delay for correcting lip-sync on the direct audio outputs.

OAR technology allows the PUV-1830RX-AVLC receiver's optical input to be routed to the internal audio matrix. LAN connectivity provides 100BaseT networking to remote devices such as smart TVs or game consoles. The built-in pattern generator allows video signal verification on any matrix output, while PoH power supplies compatible receivers via HDBaseT.

Control is available via front panel buttons, IR, RS-232, Telnet, and Web GUI, with drivers provided for major control systems. RS-232 pass-through to the receivers is also supported. The product is designed for use with the PUV-1830RX-AVLC and PUV-1810RX-AVLC receivers, taking full advantage of PoH and LAN.
