HDBaseT2 Full 4K transmitter with AVLC, LAN, PoH, bi‑directional optical audio and ARC pathway, supporting 4K @ 60 Hz 4:4:4, HDR, high‑bitrate audio and full control extension over a single Cat.6a/7 cable up to 100 m
The PUV‑2100TX‑AVLC is a 4K HDBaseT2 transmitter designed to extend HDMI 2.0, digital audio, IR, RS‑232, Ethernet, and advanced audio paths (including ARC and bidirectional optical) over a single Cat.6a/7 cable up to 100 m. It fully supports 4K @ 60 Hz 4:4:4 8-bit, 10/12-bit HDR sources, high bitrate audio, and all HDBaseT2 features, including 48V PoH, clock stretching, TMDS re‑clocking, and control data management.
Thanks to AVLC (Adaptive Visually Lossless Compression) technology, the transmitter can extend HDMI sources up to 18 Gbps despite the HDBaseT limit of 10.2 Gbps, maintaining visual quality indistinguishable from the original when connected to a compatible receiver or the INX‑2100‑AVLC card.
The device integrates HDMI, optical, IR, RS‑232, LAN, and USB inputs, as well as an HDBaseT2 output with simultaneous video, audio, Ethernet, control, and PoH power to the receiver. Bidirectional optical transmission allows digital audio to be exchanged between the TX and RX ports, while ARC management allows audio to be recovered from the display and sent back to the system.
Rugged, stable, and designed for professional installations, the PUV‑2100TX‑AVLC is ideal for 4K AV systems, modular matrix switchers, conference rooms, digital signage, and distributed infrastructures that require maximum quality and reliability.
Main features
- HDMI with HDR, 3D, and 4K @ 60 Hz support, DVI 1.0 compatible
- HDCP 2.2 and HDCP 1.x compatible
- Supports video signals up to 4K UHD (18 Gbps, 4K @ 50/60 Hz 4:4:4, 8-bit) input and output
- Supports Deep Color input and output up to 12-bit
- Supports 10-bit and 12-bit HDR sources input and output
- Supports CEC bypass
- HDBaseT output transmits video, audio, and data over a single Cat.5e/6/7 cable and can reach distances up to 100 m at 4K using Cat.6a/7
- HDBaseT feature support: HD video and audio, 100BaseT Ethernet, 48V PoH (PSE), bidirectional optical audio, and control (IR/RS-232) (bidirectional)
- AVLC (Adaptive Visually Lossless Compression) technology activates when the source exceeds 10.2 Gbps, allowing the transmission of signals up to 18 Gbps without visual loss when connected to a compatible receiver.
- The AVLC function allows manual selection between High Quality Mode (maximum bandwidth) and Standard Mode (reduced bandwidth, useful for long distances with 4K sources).
- Supports bidirectional optical audio extension.
- Supports HDMI DDC clock stretching for improved source compatibility.
- Performs TMDS re-clocking and signal regeneration for greater stability.
- Supports standard 48V PoH from transmitter to receiver (compatible receivers only)
