The QU‑8MS is a 1 × 8 HDMI distribution amplifier (splitter) designed to replicate a single HDMI signal to eight identical outputs, ensuring compatibility with HDMI 1.4 specifications and support for up to 4K @ 60 Hz 4:2:0 and 4K @ 30 Hz 4:4:4.
It supports major digital audio formats, including LPCM up to 7.1 channels, Bitstream, and HD Bitstream, with sampling rates up to 192 kHz.
It features integrated EDID management functions with Standard (internal EDID) and TV (display EDID) modes, as well as a System Reset function that sends a CEC Active Source command to re-establish synchronization between the source and display in the event of handshake problems—i.e., communication errors between the source and display during EDID and HDCP negotiation.
The compact design and stable signal distribution make the QU‑8MS suitable for professional installations requiring reliability and compatibility with a wide range of displays.
