RE-EDID is an HDMI/DVI EDID manager designed to adjust and manipulate the EDID information provided by a display to the source, ensuring the correct audio/video signal is output.

The device simplifies AV system integration, home theater installations, and testing procedures thanks to its learning function that allows the EDID to be read and written to the system. Read, Write, Emulate and Bypass modes are available to handle any source-display compatibility scenario.

The product is ideal for resolving compatibility issues between sources and displays, particularly when integrating PCs into an AV system.

  • Resolutions up to 1080p @ 60 Hz, 4K × 2K @ 24/30 Hz, and 1920 × 1200 @ 60 Hz (WUXGA)
  • Up to 16-bit Deep Color
  • HD audio: LPCM 7.1 CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS HD Master Audio (sampling rates from 32 to 192 kHz)
  • Supports four EDID modes: Read/Write/Emulate/Bypass
  • Read mode: Reads the display's EDID information
  • Write mode: Overwrites the display's EDID (if supported)
  • Emulator mode: The source device reads the selected EDID from the device's memory
  • Bypass mode: Allows the source device to read the EDID directly from the display
  • 8 EDID sets can be stored via learning procedure
  • Powered via USB or input HDMI
  • Compatible with DVI sources via DVI-HDMI adapter (not included)
