NDI 5 to HDMI 2.0 / SDI decoder on different formats, simultaneously. It receives an NDI 5 signal (so not only Full NDI, but also NDI | HX3 / 2) via an RJ-45 port and outputs an HDMI 2.0 signal with resolution up to 4096 x 2160p @ 50/60 fps and 3G-SDI. It offers the advantage of a low latency of 50 ms, a minimum bandwidth used in the network (compatible with 1 Gb switches) and a high quality transmission, adding the cross-domain connection function to not only improve interoperability between NDI devices, but also allow users to share video and audio more flexibly and quickly, creating a more complete NDI ecosystem.
It also has a UVC (USB Video Class) input on a USB 3.0 Type A port, used to connect devices such as webcams or video cameras via a USB connection, without the need to use additional converters.
It supports 4K 60 4:2:2 high definition video with minimal compression and extremely precise video and audio synchronization, making it ideal for permanent AV installations, concerts and sporting events, large exhibition halls and schools.
The output audio stream is embedded with the video on HDMI up to 8 channels, with 24-bit, 32 – 192 kHz format.
Power is provided by an external 12 VDC 2 A power supply, but also supports PoE. API integration via DANTE DIRECTOR software.
Ultimately, this unique device represents a flexible and cost-effective choice for large-scale events with dozens or even hundreds of AV processing devices.
