C1 sets a new standard for remote real-time video monitoring up to 300 m LOS, thanks to the revolutionary HEVO wireless transmission technology. HEVO uses Adaptive Frequency Hopping (AFH) technology which improves video coding efficiency by 30% and takes only 0.001 s end-to-end from transmission to reception, in addition to seamless re-transmission technology. Together, these features deliver exceptional reliability, increased signal strength and superior anti-interference performance. Regardless of whether you are using manual or automatic mode, you can say goodbye to flickering, glitches and black screens. Furthermore, you can run four of these video transmission systems simultaneously in one location without compromising the smoothness of the video transmission.
The increased signal strength and its immunity to interference in the 5.1 - 5.8 GHz spectrum ensure smooth video transmission, even in complex environments. Cosmo C1 is also the first in its field to integrate UVC (USB Video Capture) technology: you only need a USB-C connection to deliver full 1080p 60 HD video quality to a computer for direct live streaming, thanks to support of HEVO at UVC. No video capture device and no additional settings are needed, just connect a simple USB-C cable!
The Cosmo C1 supports HDMI and SDI connections on both the TX and RX units, as well as an SDI loop-out on the transmitter. It can work with any mainstream camera, monitor or switcher. Plus, there are three different power options for maximum flexibility. The DC power supply is great for indoor use, while the N-PF/L series battery and USB-C port make the unit portable for shooting on the go. The red low battery indicator indicates 20 m of battery power remaining, to avoid running out of battery.
