8 x 10 HDBaseT Class B matrix, 4K 60 Hz 4:2:0, HDR, bi-directional IR & CEC, Alexa voice control, remote monitoring (1080p: 70 m 4K: 40 m). Includes 8 x PoH receivers (P8-HDBT-L-RX) with audio breakout

neo:8a is an 8 x 10 matrix, the flagship model among the Pulse Eight fixed format matrixes, with dedicated audio breakout from each HDMI source at no additional cost. The kit includes 8 HDBaseT Class B PoH receivers.

Supporting HDBaseT Class B, neo:8a can extend 4K signal up to 40 m and 1080p signal up to 70 m.

CEC - Definitive Source Control

CEC allows you to  control all your devices (Sky decoder, Blu-Ray player, Apple TV, etc.) from the original TV remote control. In fact, most TVs support CEC and, using the relevant library, Pulse-Eight has integrated that technology into the system. In this way you can simply use the normal TV remote control and press the "Source" button: each of the input devices will be listed and it will be sufficient to simply select the one you want: the matrix will automatically routes the video, even if the source does not support CEC.

Contextual IR

Let's say you have a device with 8 inputs, 10 outputs - exactly like this matrix - and the ability to create multiple combinations for video. Traditionally, matrix switches used remote controls with 8 or 16 buttons, which required multiple presses to select the video source to output to the TV. However, Pulse-Eight deemed this solution impractical, considering you already know which room you're in. Therefore, the company created a matrix with a contextual IR approach, reducing the number of buttons, one for each possible source. Now, no matter what room you are in, you can select the desired output number and instantly view that specific video source.

Responsive web interface

It is important to be able to access the matrix from any device, mobile, tablet or desktop PC and with any browser. The web interface developed by Pulse-Eight is built directly on its own REST/API, this means that whatever you can do on your phone, you can also have it done on your control system and viceversa. There are no hidden tricks or special codes. All necessary documentation is free and available on the monitoring site.

Control with Alexa

With the neo Alexa skill enabled on your Amazon Echo or Dot, you will be able to use commands to turn a specific TV on or off or to change source devices. Without having to lift a finger, the matrix will execute the voice commands given to Alexa.

Remote monitoring system

It is important that your system remains in contact with the Pulse-Eight cloud management service. If for any reason a malfunction occurs, the installer or the user himself will be able to access the cloud portal and view useful diagnostic information, resolve problems remotely or tell where you may have gone wrong during the installation. It is a free service. If the matrix has a problem, Pulse-Eight technicians are immediately notified; in this way, they can contact the customer to arrange a hardware replacement or provide step-by-step troubleshooting guidance.
