Large-scale event controller developed by Pixelhue; it represents a further enhanced version of U5. Compared to its predecessor U3, U5 Pro comes with a new design, greater versatility and semplicity of use for a field control experience that will further facilitate the management of today's events, from large-scale interactive live shows, to musical tours, immersive art, exhibitions and more. It can be used as a control surface for the Q8 seamless switcher.
It integrates editing and timeline management functions and offers audio, light, video control for maximum versatility of use with the aim of providing a multifunctional control solution for real-time video production. The 43.8" ultra-wide display allows multiple graphical user interfaces to be displayed on one screen, which also greatly simplifies on-site implementation. This screen is tiled by a second 8" Smart Touch which provides an additional display for still images, information on the Time Code, device integrity status and information on the Multiviewer. An integrated concealed keyboard supplied with the event controller further facilitates on-site use, and two drawers are additionally available for further storage.
The extremely well-finished control surface offers 203 user-programmable LCD function keys that meet all operating requirements: the names of the functions themselves, pages and more can be clearly displayed on the buttons and customized skins and styles a liking. A high-resolution T-bar, 4 rotary encoders and 8 faders make operation smooth and fast, thanks also to the state-of-the-art core architecture and SSD (NVMe). Note that encoders and faders can be mapped to external MIDI functions for volume adjustment and more. Support for Time Code generation and acceptance, Time Code format conversion capability, and MIDI T.C. add extra value to all shows.
The newly updated Triton integrated software with out-of-the-box graphical user interface helps manage devices, screens, layers, sources, presets in the easiest way. The interactive design maximizes user convenience and shortens the learning curve, while convenient control for multiple presentation switchers and media servers greatly simplifies on-site deployment and provides greater convenience and ease at events.
