Briteq BTX-SKYRAN: the new modular multi-effect fixture for professional applications

In the latest video on the Audio Effetti Stream channel, our Product Specialist Mattia Paccaloni presents the Briteq BTX-SKYRAN, a multi-effect fixture designed to deliver powerful output, operational versatility and advanced control in a single professional solution.

Its hexagonal design enables true modularity: multiple units can be seamlessly combined to create creative configurations, light walls, clusters or scenic installations. The quick-lock system ensures flexible setups and fast assembly times, making it ideal for demanding production environments.

Inside the BTX-SKYRAN, three independent lighting sections work together in perfect harmony:

COB Warm White + Amber Blinder (7 × 80 W): delivers the look and softness of traditional tungsten, with colour control ranging from realistic warm white to rich amber tones suitable for audience effects.
Strobe section (120 × 3 W white LEDs): arranged in six independent segments, it produces powerful flashes, rhythmic chases and precise synchronisation with audio and video content.
RGB pixel-mapping engine (604 × 0.5 W LEDs): creates a three-dimensional glow, smooth gradients and dynamic patterns ideal for live shows, broadcast environments and high-impact visual productions.

Control capabilities are one of its strongest assets: the BTX-SKYRAN supports DMX, RDM, Art-Net and sACN, offering modes from 12 up to 1,952 channels for exceptionally detailed programming. The adjustable PWM frequency up to 25,000 Hz ensures a completely flicker-free performance, even with high-speed cameras.

Structurally, the fixture features a robust metal housing, PowerCON TRUE1 and RJ45 EtherCON connectors, a full-colour OLED display with touch controls and a 100–240 V AC universal power supply, making it suitable for both touring and fixed installations.

Designed as an all-in-one solution, the BTX-SKYRAN can replace multiple traditional fixtures with a single unit, simplifying technical workflows and enhancing the visual impact of events, concerts and professional installations.
