In the new video published on the Audio Effetti Stream channel, our Product Specialist Michael Leonessa presents PixelFlow 2.0, the new software update released by Pixelhue together with a series of firmware updates dedicated to the different platforms in the range.
The update introduces several features that significantly improve operational flexibility, resource management and workflow speed, offering new tools both for users working with Pixelhue systems in live environments and for more structured installations.
Among the main new features for P80 and Q8 systems is Live Background, which allows an input to be assigned as a background without occupying dedicated layers. This improvement optimizes available resources and simplifies the management of video compositions.
For P80, the Dual Device Link function allows two units to be connected via optical fiber, sharing input signals between the systems. This feature, now also available on Q8, expands configuration possibilities in complex environments, offering greater flexibility in input management.
Another update concerns P80 hardware, with a new board featuring 8 HDMI inputs, designed to increase input source management capacity.

For the Q8 system, the introduction of VPUs (Virtual Processing Units) makes it possible to redistribute resources between output cards, improving overall system efficiency. In addition, multiview can now be shared as a resource, offering new monitoring possibilities.
PixelFlow 2.0 also includes general performance improvements, including faster preset recall and optimized keyframe management, making the interface more responsive and the workflow smoother.
