In the latest video published on the Audio Effetti Stream channel, our Video Product Specialist Michael Leonessa introduces the Pixelhue P80, the new processing platform developed by Pixelhue and designed to meet the demands of live productions, corporate events and high-complexity workflows.
Long awaited by the market, the P80 features a completely redesigned architecture aimed at delivering maximum flexibility in signal management. It offers 16 inputs distributed across three dedicated boards, supporting SDI, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort, along with a new link board that allows multiple units to be connected for scalable system configurations.
On the output side, the system includes a board with eight HDMI 2.0 connectors, capable of handling up to four independent 4K programmes or dual-link configurations. This is complemented by an AUX section with four additional HDMI outputs and an integrated SDI matrix, one of the key innovations of this generation.
The platform is further enhanced by a 64×64 Dante chipset, dual multiviewers, Genlock, LTC, dual redundant power supplies and Ethernet connectivity for remote control, making the P80 a true central hub for modern professional workflows.
Control is managed through the PixelFlow software, which from version 1.7.1 also enables virtual simulation of the system. The new front-panel touchscreen display allows quick access to presets and operational functions.
Positioned between the P20 and Q8, the P80 represents a strategic solution for service providers, rental companies and system integrators looking for a platform that can grow alongside their clients’ evolving requirements, while maintaining stability, redundancy and high processing quality.
