The opening ceremony of the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2015 in Chile was filled with explosive performances in the National Stadium with Explo’s X2 and GX2 flame machines.

Explo powers up at the FIFA U-17 World Cup

Explo was one of the main stars during the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2015 in Chile together with W-DMX and Clay Paky. Explo is distributed exclusively by Audio Effetti Srl both in Italy and in all of South America, while the other two brands are distributed by Valook in Chile.

3x X2 Wave Flamers, 4x GX2 Gas Projectors and 4x Liquid Pump Stations from Explo were used during the celebrations. 2x TX2 70k transmitters with SMPTE time code were used for the synchronization.

You will find a very detailed video from this event on Explo’s YouTube channel (link to video on the left-hand side) where one clearly sees the precision of the flame machines and how well synchronized they are despite being two different machines running on different types of fuel.

You will also notice just how accurate and amazing these flame effects are when combined with the amazing Mythos moving heads from Clay Paky.

After roughly one minute into the film, the effect of running three X2 Wave Flamers and four GX2 Gas Projectors are clearly shown through slow-motion. This is where you see just how particular these machines are and their true power in creating spectacular shows.
