12 x 12 digital matrix (8 x 8 analog + 4 x 4 remote) controllable via software with possibility to add 8 digital inputs / outputs and connect up to 16 matrices via the optional Dante card.
The software makes it possible to assign all inputs and outputs and to process the signal according to the requirements of the system. The IOS and Android compatible App provides access to all essential settings on smartphones and tablets. The numerous network possibilities and the Dante option make it suitable for installations in shopping centres, restaurants, hotels, museums, conference rooms, wherever the number of inputs and broadcast zones require precise parameterisation.

Rear panel

• INPUT: Euroblock connector with 8 balanced analog inputs
• OUTPUT: Euroblock connector with 8 balanced analog outputs
• LAN: port for Ethernet connection, 10/100 M adaptive, with DHCP function
• GPI: this function is used to control the input / output / mute priority of all channel 1-8 outputs
• ON/OFF switch: enable or disable the Ethernet port
• RD 9/10, 11/12: RD ports for connecting a remote control accessory such as DZ-BOX22, DZ-CTL, DZ-CTL2OUT, DZ-EXPAND and DZ-MICDESK. These ports transmit and receive AES3 digital audio and control data
• Relay: dry contacts whose ON/OFF status can be controlled individually in the "SYSTEM" menu. They are generally used as switches for third party electrical equipment. Attention: 24 V_DC, control current: less than 500 mA
• RS232: this interface is used to remotely control DZ-MATRIX parameters, such as changing a preset or changing the gain of a channel

Software

The software allows you to manage all inputs and outputs and make all settings on the channels: input DSP settings, matrix, output DSP, priority, feedback suppressor, auto mix, presets, backup, link stereo inputs or outputs etc.

• DSP CHANNEL: control of inputs with adjustments of levels, EQ, compression, filters, Phantom power, etc.
• DUCKER: priority control, allows you to select the priority channels and on which they act. Setting independent trigger thresholds on all outputs
• MATRIX: control of the matrix with assignment of inputs and outputs. Note: channels 01 to 08 are Dante channels, accessible only when the DZ-DANTE card (optional) is active
• FBB: Feedback control with choice of inputs and outputs. The adjustment of the static or dynamic 24-point filter is done automatically
• SAVE / LOAD / COPY - allows you to manage backups in the matrix or on your computer. It allows to save, in the form of presets, the states of the matrix with all the settings, to import or export them. You can also copy the settings of one channel to another
• AUTO MIXER: automatically controls the gains of multiple microphones in real time, reducing feedback, noise and comb filtering from nearby microphones. It maintains constant system gain and crossfades perfectly without any signal compression
• SYSTEM: allows you to act on dry contacts, restore the matrix default settings, modify the matrix name, manage GPI 1 and 2, manage the password
• DEVICE INFO: allows you to view all the information of the peripherals connected to the matrix
• MOBILE APP: the DZ-Control App, compatible with iOS and Android, allows you to control the matrix from your smartphone or tablet.
