PTC-285 is a professional PTZ camera with AI tracking characterized by a 4K 50/60p resolution to adapt to the most varied applications: video conferencing, remote teaching, university lectures, meetings in boardrooms, places of worship, broadcasting, medical etc.
This PTZ can be easily controlled via traditional RS-422 serial port or IP remote control via DVIP (Datavideo proprietary protocol) or Sony VISCA over IP and finally adopting PTZ View Assist. It is an App that can control up to 4 cameras simultaneously via DVIP; you can intuitively configure and recall presets and adjust white balance, focus and iris. The App, for iOS and Android, is capable of decoding the live stream via RTSP, SRT . Easily monitor live streaming video of PTC-140, PTC-280, PTC-285 and PTC-300 models and set parameters promptly in one application.
PTC-285 enables dual streaming output for A/V market applications, so you can easily stream to Facebook (RTMPS), YouTube and dvCloud.
Direct access to AI tracking is enabled via various external controllers such as the supplied RMC-1 remote control and DVIP controllers (RMC-300A, RMC-180 MARK II and PTC View Assist). If you are filming multiple people, you can designate one person for AI tracking. Once connected to the PTZ, only the designated person will be tracked, avoiding interference such as desks, people moving back and forth, large objects, etc. The built-in PID algorithm can detect the movement speed of the identified object and automatically adjust the corresponding pan, tilt and zoom speeds of the camera so that the movement of the lens is smooth, avoiding common problems such as jerks or unexpected events.
As for the opto/electronic compartement, this PTZ boasts a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor. We therefore find a 12x optical zoom (16x digital) associated with a particularly bright lens (f/1.8 – f/2.6) with an angle of view of 80° at the minimum focal length.
The 4K video output interfaces are HDMI 2.0, RJ45 (PoE), 3G-SDI up to 1080p 60/50 fps and there is also support for simultaneous 2160p 50/60 fps and 1080p 50/60 fps video output ( 3G-SDI). There is also a MIC in / line in input (switchable on the web UI).
Finally, the PTC-285 supports PoE for easy installation. You only need to use a single CAT 6 cable to power the PTZ.
The tally lamp and dark blue color complete the features.
