Optically, it uses ED and Super ED elements to reduce chromatic aberrations, a proprietary stabilization system that ensures blur-free images even during sports or live action footage, and an HT-EBC coating that eliminates reflections and flare, improving contrast and black depth. The nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a natural and pleasing bokeh, while the multi-group system maintains sharpness throughout the entire focal range.
Weighing approximately 5.8 kg (12.5 lbs) and with a minimum focusing distance of At 2.8 meters, the UA46x13.5BERD-U1 is designed to be robust and reliable for field productions.
