HBT-50 is a 4-channel HDBaseT receiver. It can power PTZ cameras, simultaneously transmit SDI (up to 1080p 60 fps) and HDMI (up to 1080p 60 fps) signal - as well as camera control via RS-422 or DVIP - to the switcher.
This Datavideo device of the HBT series is designed to solve the problems commonly encountered when multiple video signals need to be transmitted to an encoder, switcher or video mixer, problems mainly related to the need to use multiple devices. In fact, thanks to the use of the HDBaseT protocol, HBT-50 allows, with a single device and a single network cable:

• To receive signals from 4 PTZ cameras with a maximum resolution of 4K at 60 fps and at a distance of up to 100 m using a single CAT 5 or 6 network cable.
• Provide PoE power to the cameras themselves, without the need to use a PoE injector.
• Remotely control various PTZ parameters such as iris, presets, Pan / Tilt and so on. Control signals are output simultaneously in RS-422 and IP.

HDBaseT is a standard for transmitting uncompressed high-definition video, audio, power, and other control signals at high speed. The specification calls for the use of LAN CAT 5 or 6 cables up to a length of 100 m for the physical connection to simultaneously convey this type of signal. Thanks to the dual HDMI and SDI output, HBT-50 can send, for example, an HDMI signal to a video encoder (such as the NVS-40 of the same brand) and simultaneously in SDI to a video switcher or ISO recorder without need to use additional HDBaseT receivers.
