Accsoon expands the CineView family with the Accsoon CineView Master 4K Lite, an affordable DCI 4K 60 wireless AV transmission system based on the dual-band 2.4 / 5 GHz RTMS 4.0 protocol. With latency below 35 ms in Full HD and under 65 ms in 4K, it offers a transmission range of up to 350 meters, USB-C video output on both TX and RX, wireless camera control for Sony / Canon mirrorless cameras, and monitoring on up to 5 devices via the Accsoon SEE app or wired connection. Compatible with the entire Accsoon CineView ecosystem, it features H.265 video compression, SDI / HDMI inputs and outputs, NP-F or V-Mount power options, and advanced functions for a wide range of productions.

Accsoon CineView Master 4K Lite arrives at a strategic moment for Accsoon, which has significantly expanded its ecosystem over the past two years: from more accessible models such as the Accsoon CineView HE and Accsoon CineView Nano, to the recent Accsoon CineView SE 4K and the Accsoon CineView M7H Pro monitor.

The new Master 4K Lite is positioned as an intermediate solution between the well-known CineView Master 4K and the 1080p models mentioned above, designed to deliver what many crews consider truly essential: end-to-end DCI 4K 60 transmission, RF stability, high operational versatility, integrated camera control, and extremely flexible monitoring.

Compared to the CineView Master 4K, which remains the flagship model, the Lite version forgoes triple-band operation with the additional 6 GHz frequency and the 2.5 km range, but introduces—as we will see shortly—features that are more useful in everyday on-set workflows, along with a more accessible price point.

In all scenarios where extreme distances are not required, the Accsoon CineView Master 4K Lite therefore represents a more logical and cost-effective choice. It is available both as a transmitter + receiver kit—identical in appearance except for the differently colored logo (green for TX and gray for RX)—and as standalone transmitter or receiver units. Each device includes four antennas: two longer 5 GHz antennas and two shorter 2.4 GHz antennas.

Dual-band transmission with RTMS 4.0 protocol

The core of the system is the new RTMS 4.0, a proprietary protocol that intelligently combines the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands with DFS support. The 5 GHz channel is a key factor in ensuring wireless transmission stability. By selecting “Auto” mode, the transmitter automatically scans and selects the best available channel (manual channel selection is also possible). The result is more stable transmission, faster connection times, and more efficient operation in congested RF environments.

The declared range is 350 m line-of-sight at 1080p 60 and low bitrate, in compliance with FCC regulations, in an environment free of obstacles and interference. The system is based on automatic pairing groups, so it is sufficient to match the group setting on both TX and RX units. The Accsoon CineView Master 4K Lite supports up to 16 groups, more than enough for multicam setups with multiple transmitter and receiver groups.

H.264 and H.265 codecs allow users to choose between maximum quality and lower bandwidth usage. Of particular interest is the ability to adjust the wireless bitrate: this setting affects image quality on all wireless monitoring devices, while the uRate (USB Bitrate Level) only impacts the image quality of the stream transmitted via the USB cable on the TX unit.

Low latency

Accsoon specifies a latency of under 35 ms in Full HD and less than 65 ms in DCI 4K 60. Although these values refer only to the TX / RX segment and not the entire signal chain, they make the Accsoon CineView Master 4K Lite suitable for director monitoring, client viewing, DIT workflows, and in many cases even for focus pulling (the process by which the assistant maintains precise focus on the subject during a film or video shoot) in 1080p.

USB-C video output on TX and RX: a highly practical addition

One of the most requested features—now finally implemented on both transmitter and receiver—is the USB-C video output, which allows smartphones or tablets to be connected directly to either unit, enabling:

  • Wired monitoring with no additional latency
  • Direct power supply to the mobile device
  • Extremely compact setups for directors, operators, or camera assistants

To monitor the AV signal via cable on mobile devices, simply connect the video output on the TX or RX to a smartphone or tablet and select “USB” as the connection method when accessing the monitoring page. However, the USB outputs on TX and RX operate slightly differently.

The USB Video OUT port on the transmitter provides an additional 1080p stream with low latency and high bitrate, effectively turning a mobile device into a professional camera monitor. The higher image quality is particularly useful for streaming, recording, and cloud-based camera workflows.

On the receiver side, the USB video output combines the stability of dual-band transmission with the strength of the dedicated RX signal, along with the convenience of monitoring on smart devices. Compared to direct Wi-Fi monitoring, it offers significantly greater stability and extended range.

App connection to the transmitter and flexible monitoring: up to 5 devices

It is possible to connect a mobile device to the transmitter via Wi-Fi in order to monitor the camera feed. Simply connect a smartphone or tablet to the Accsoon network and open the Accsoon SEE app, previously downloaded from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Once the device is selected, access to the monitoring page provides a live wireless view.

The system allows monitoring on up to 5 devices simultaneously:

  • 1 wired device via USB-C
  • 4 wireless devices via the Accsoon SEE app

The SEE app supports up to DCI 4K 60 when used with the Accsoon CineView Master 4K Lite, along with LUT support, recording, video rotation for vertical content, and integration with Frame.io Camera to Cloud.

Integrated wireless camera control

The Master 4K Lite transmitter supports camera control via a dedicated USB-C port. The PTP control protocol is currently enabled on the following mirrorless and video camera models: Sony FX3, FX30, FX6, A7C II, A7S III, A7 IV, A9 III, Canon R5, R6, R5 II, R6 II, R7, and R8. Accsoon has already announced further expansion to additional models.

When the control port is connected to a compatible camera, three control buttons will appear on the monitoring page within the Accsoon SEE app.

Adjustable parameters include:

  • ISO
  • Aperture
  • Shutter speed
  • White balance
  • REC start / stop (with the option for synchronized recording)
  • Focus

All functions can be controlled wirelessly from a mobile device. In particular, focus control is touch-based, with minimal latency.

Controls layout and build quality

On the side of the transmitter, there is the power button, an LCD screen, a control knob for menu navigation with push-to-confirm function, and a button to return to previous menus. Among the available menu options, one allows monitoring of the device temperature and internal fan status, with selectable modes: standard, silent, or off. Active cooling with integrated fans ensures thermal stability even during extended sessions, maintaining consistent performance under all operating conditions.

The receiver is essentially similar, except for the absence of the USB-C camera control port. The menu structure remains the same (although transmission-related settings cannot be modified). It is also possible to change the output image when no input signal is present, choosing between the default Accsoon logo, standard vertical color bars, or a solid blue or black screen. This helps prevent sending feeds with the device logo in broadcast or streaming applications when the receiver is disconnected from the transmitter.

From a construction standpoint, the Accsoon CineView Master 4K Lite features a robust aluminum chassis designed for intensive use, with an industrial design and a connection layout engineered to withstand daily operation in film, broadcast, and multi-camera environments.

To mount the transmitter on a camera, a dedicated adapter can be used, fitting directly into the mirrorless camera’s hot shoe.

Connectivity and power

The Accsoon CineView Master 4K Lite offers a comprehensive set of connections designed for professional use.

The transmitter features HDMI 2.0 and 3G-SDI inputs, along with an HDMI loop-out that allows the signal to be sent simultaneously to an on-camera monitor or an external recorder. The camera’s video output can be connected directly to the CineView Master 4K TX via the HDMI input.

Also included are a dedicated USB-C port for camera control and a USB video output for wired monitoring on mobile devices.

The receiver maintains the same level of flexibility, with HDMI 2.0 and 3G-SDI outputs, ensuring compatibility with director monitors, switchers, and recording systems.

Power options are equally versatile: a 7.4 to 16.8 V DC input is available for use with power supplies or on-set distribution systems, along with a rear-mounted NP-F battery slot compatible with batteries of various capacities, such as those from Rolux.

For professional setups, a V-Mount adapter—also compatible with the CineView Master 4K—is recommended, allowing the transmitter to be powered via a V-Mount battery and to supply power to the camera as well.

Compatibility with the Accsoon CineView ecosystem

The Accsoon CineView Master 4K Lite is fully integrated within the CineView platform, ensuring bidirectional compatibility with:

  • Accsoon CineView M7 / Accsoon CineView M7H Pro (TX / RX)
  • Accsoon CineView Master 4K
  • Accsoon CineView SE 4K

This enables mixed configurations and gradual upgrades without the need to replace the entire fleet of transmitters and receivers.
