Audio Effetti announces the acquisition of the official distribution of Appotronics for the Italian market. Appotronics is one of the world’s leading players in high-brightness projection and a key reference in the development of laser technologies for professional display and digital cinema applications.

Listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and internationally recognized as a pioneer in laser light source technology, Appotronics has redefined projection quality standards through proprietary solutions that today represent one of the most advanced benchmarks in the global market.

With a strong focus on research and development, the company revolutionized the industry by introducing the world’s first Laser TV and rapidly strengthening its position in digital cinema, where it supplies laser light source technology for the projectors of several leading brands. Today, more than 30% of cinema theatres worldwide use Appotronics technologies, confirming the international relevance of the brand and the breadth of its patent portfolio.

A key differentiating element of the Appotronics offering is the innovative RGBX laser light source, a proprietary solution combining laser, integrated phosphor module and LED technology to expand the colour spectrum and deliver more saturated, natural and continuous colours, especially within the green range, where the human eye is most sensitive. Compared to traditional RGB laser systems based on narrow spectral distribution sources, RGBX technology ensures superior visual performance, greater colour uniformity and high reliability even in the most demanding professional applications.

The Appotronics range of high-brightness projectors covers a wide variety of professional applications: from the T Pro Series, capable of delivering up to 34,000 lumens, to the S Pro and S Series solutions offering up to 21,000 lumens, designed to provide high efficiency, operational reliability and robust performance in permanent installations and live environments. The portfolio is completed by the D Pro, M Pro and S Smart Series, developed for museums, corporate and educational environments, architectural video mapping, live events and rental & staging applications, where image quality, compact dimensions and continuous operation are essential requirements.

In China, Appotronics collaborates with designers, scenographers and artists to create immersive installations, water shows, dynamic stage designs and large-scale architectural projections. This high-level application expertise, combined with an extremely competitive positioning compared to major Japanese and European brands, represents a significant added value for the Italian market.

All Appotronics projectors are designed to meet the real-world requirements of the entertainment industry, professional installations and next-generation immersive applications.

With this new distribution agreement, Audio Effetti further strengthens its presence in the professional projection sector, introducing to the Italian market an advanced technological platform based on DLP technology with RGBX laser light source, designed to deliver high performance, operational reliability and outstanding visual quality for the most demanding entertainment, live production and architectural applications.
