On the occasion of Milan Design Week’s Fuorisalone, Storm Events S.r.l. created a temporary visual installation for Lualdi S.p.A. based on four minimalist LED totems using EGO Display EasyFLEX P1.9 LED panels in the 50×100 cm format. The solution made it possible to create elegant vertical elements perfectly integrated into the exhibition environment, enhancing high-definition content with sharp images, uniform brightness and strong visual impact.
The project included three double-sided totems and one single-sided totem, all measuring 100×200 cm. Each structure featured a dedicated audio system with headphones for individual listening to the video content, offering visitors an immersive and discreet experience perfectly aligned with the exhibition context.
Fuorisalone represents one of the most important moments of Milan Design Week, during which international brands and designers showcase installations capable of combining aesthetics, technology and experimentation. In this context, Lualdi S.p.A., a leading name in Italian design excellence, chose to enhance its spaces with a contemporary visual solution, entrusting Storm Events with the creation of LED totems capable of interacting with the showroom architecture and the brand’s visual language, while also supporting content communication throughout the exhibition space.
For this project, Storm Events, a company specialized in the technical design of events and installations, selected EGO Display, the Audio Effetti brand dedicated to installation LED walls.
The challenge
To create slim, high-definition LED totems capable of combining architectural integration, visual quality and fast installation.
The goal was to develop elegant visual elements perfectly integrated into the space, avoiding invasive structures or solutions that could interfere with the clean and understated style of the showroom.
It was therefore essential to use high-definition LED panels capable of delivering sharp images even at close viewing distances thanks to the 1.9 mm pixel pitch. At the same time, the solution had to adapt to the project’s geometry without requiring custom manufacturing or complex installation processes, while ensuring fast setup and maximum aesthetic precision.
Another key requirement involved synchronized content management: all totems had to reproduce videos in perfect sync through an online control system based on NovaStar TB60, ensuring operational stability and continuous performance throughout the entire event.

The solution
The choice fell on EGO Display EasyFLEX P1.9 panels in the 50×100 cm format, featuring rotatable cabinets and modules that can be installed both horizontally and vertically without affecting color uniformity or viewing angles.
This structural flexibility made it possible to create slim, clean totems perfectly consistent with Lualdi’s architectural style, while also simplifying the integration of the cabinets into the supporting structure designed for the project.
EasyFLEX-P1.9-100 - Indoor, 3-in-1 SMD, 800 nit, 5000:1, ≥ 3840 Hz, 500 x 1000 mm, 10 kg high-performance LED panel, flexible design, right angle splicing for option

The 800 nit brightness, 5000:1 contrast ratio and ≥3840 Hz refresh rate ensured smooth and detailed visual performance, free from flickering even during video shooting and photographic documentation of the event. In addition, the plug-in power system and the symmetrical cabinet mechanics made installation fast, clean and secure.
Content management was handled through the NovaStar TB60 system, with all totems connected online and synchronized to ensure simultaneous video playback and perfect content synchronization throughout the exhibition space.
Each totem was also equipped with dedicated headphones for individual listening to the audio associated with each video content, preventing sound interference within the showroom environment.
The results
The installation helped create a refined and contemporary atmosphere perfectly aligned with the identity of the Lualdi brand and the Fuorisalone setting. The LED totems became a focal point of the exhibition space thanks to their discreet yet distinctive presence, enhancing the content without becoming visually intrusive.
The synchronization of the video content, combined with individual headphone listening, made the experience more engaging and immersive while preserving the acoustic and visual cleanliness of the environment.
The versatility of the EasyFLEX system also made it possible to meet installation timelines, architectural constraints and aesthetic requirements, confirming the effectiveness of the solution not only for temporary events, but also for retail applications, showrooms and integrated installations within the design world.
