Chain Hoist

A chain hoist is a mechanical device used to lift and lower heavy loads and therefore very useful in the entertainment industry to be able to hoist Line Arrays, lighting fixtures or any other object of a certain weight onto the trusses. Of course, it can be used in many other areas (warehouses, construction sites, etc.).

There are different types of hoists, each designed for specific applications and lifting capacities, from the manual chain hoist to the electric one, etc. Audio Effetti only has motorized ones in its catalog.

The main components of a chain hoist are the lifting chain (or chains), the load hook, a gear system that multiplies the applied force, a motor, a chain bag and a safety mechanism that prevents the load from accidentally falling.
