Construction and materials
The BORA series was created with the aim of ensuring operational continuity in environments where exposure to the elements is constant and unavoidable. For this reason, each loudspeaker is built around a cabinet obtained through injection molding of polymer compounds, a solution that ensures high robustness, rigidity, stability, and UV resistance. The slightly rough surface helps reduce the impact of sunlight and improves the material's long-term durability, making it suitable for coastal, marine, and more generally outdoor installations.
The front grille is one of the most characteristic elements of this product line: made of stainless steel and painted with a durable finish, it incorporates an internal multilayer protection made of foam and acoustically transparent fabric. In the larger models and in the subwoofer, the front protective screen evolves into a sophisticated five-layer structure with differentiated functionality, engineered to drain water to the outside without causing any acoustic loss. This structure not only protects the loudspeaker from water, sand, and wind, but also improves the overall aesthetics of the loudspeaker. The rear wiring is completely sealed thanks to a dedicated gasket and cable gland (pressing device): it ensures an airtight closure and contributes to achieving the IP56 rating.
A distinctive element of the BORA series is the use of brackets and hardware in 316 stainless steel, subsequently painted white. This is a material normally used in marine applications, chosen for its resistance to salt corrosion and for its ability to maintain its mechanical characteristics even after years of exposure. The bracket is supplied with anti-vibration rubber pieces and a dedicated safety cable, while all internal screws are also in stainless steel, confirming the construction quality that characterizes the entire series.
The combination of these elements - solid cabinet, multilayer grille, waterproof cover, anti-corrosion materials, and refined finishes - allows BORA loudspeakers to maintain stable performance over time, reducing resonances, protecting internal components, and ensuring greater longevity compared with traditional outdoor products. The availability of operation both at 100 V and 8 ohms completes the flexibility of the loudspeakers.
The passive crossover with cutoff frequencies calibrated according to the woofer diameter ensures timbral uniformity and a smooth transition between ways.

How many models does the Bora series consist of?
The Bora series currently consists of five models:
- BORA6-CX: 6.5" coaxial, two-way loudspeaker, with composite polymer cabinet and multilayer grille. Equipped with a 165 mm woofer (1.4" voice coil) and a 20 mm coaxial HF driver (1" voice coil), it responds from 100 Hz to 18 kHz with a conical dispersion of 100° × 100°. It guarantees a maximum continuous SPL of 113 dB (119 dB peak)
BORA6-CX - 100 W / 100 V passive PA loudspeaker, 6.5" + 0.8" coaxial driver, IP56

- BORA12-CX: 12" coaxial, two-way loudspeaker, designed for extended coverage and outdoor applications where greater sound pressure is required. This long-throw model mounts a 300 mm woofer (3" voice coil) and a 25 mm HF driver (1.7" voice coil) horn-loaded with asymmetric 70° × 50° dispersion. It operates from 55 Hz to 18 kHz and generates 123 dB of sound pressure (129 dB peak).

- BORA15-CX: 15" coaxial, two-way loudspeaker, designed for large spaces. It represents the top of the range and is equipped with a massive 385 mm woofer (3" voice coil) and an HF driver with a 36 mm throat (3" voice coil) coupled to a 60° × 40° directional horn. It boasts an exceptional sensitivity of 103 dB/W/m and is capable of delivering 129 dB continuous over a range from 50 Hz to 18 kHz.

- BORA15-EB: 15" bass-reflex subwoofer, designed to extend the low-frequency response of the coaxial models in the BORA CX series. Mechanically and aesthetically aligned with them, it is equipped with a low-frequency transducer with a 15" ferrite magnet (3" voice coil) that operates stably in the 45 Hz - 300 Hz range. With a sensitivity of 98 dB/W/m, it reaches an SPL of 124 dB continuous (130 dB peak).
