Compact HDBaseT2 transmitter with USB 3.0 KVM extension, audio embedding, Reverse PoH, 4K @ 60 (4:2:0) transmission up to 100 m with advanced EDID and control automation
The PUV-2606TX is an HDBaseT2 extender designed to transmit HDMI signals up to 4K @ 60 Hz (4:2:0, 8-bit) along with Ethernet, USB, IR, and RS-232 over a single Cat.6/7 cable up to 100 meters. It supports Reverse PoH technology, which allows the unit to be powered directly by a compatible PUV-2600 series receiver, simplifying installation.
The HDMI input accepts content up to 4K UHD+ (18 Gbps) and supports Deep Color up to 12-bit, as well as 10/12-bit HDR. The analog audio input can be embedded in the HDBaseT signal.
When paired with the PUV-2606RX standard receiver or the PUV-2600RX matrix receiver, the system offers three selectable USB hosts (Type-B/C) that allow access to five USB device ports (Type-A), enabling a highly flexible KVM configuration. (Note: Only one USB host can be active at a time.)
The USB Type-C input can also provide up to 60 W of power to the connected device, a feature only available when the transmitter is powered locally. All USB ports on the transmitter support speeds up to USB 3.0.
The PUV-2606TX offers advanced EDID management, HDCP management, and event automation via RS-232 or CEC. Control is available via WebGUI, Telnet, RS-232, or front buttons. The unit can be powered locally via a 24V power supply or via PoH from a compatible receiver.
