Audio Effetti transforms Atlantico Eventi into a multimedia venue

Last November, ATLANTICO SRLS completed a major technological upgrade at Atlantico Eventi in Sant’Omero, near Teramo, selecting Audio Effetti as its partner for the supply of the professional technologies required to create the new integrated multimedia system. The aim was to transform the existing facility into a multifunctional venue able to host conferences, live shows, ceremonies and corporate events, delivering the standards expected of a high-profile event space. In this case study, we show how the power of Harmonic Design, the image quality of the EGO Display EasyHP P2.5 LED wall, video management via the Novastar VX1000 processor, the versatility of Briteq and Mac Mah moving heads, the visual impact of Laserworld systems, and a control network based on Avolites, CueCore and MADRIX have completely redefined the venue’s technological identity.

Atlantico Eventi was conceived as a modern, flexible venue designed to host a wide variety of formats: from corporate conventions and concerts to private ceremonies, artistic productions, live shows and institutional events. To support this multifunctional purpose, the venue required a permanent multimedia system capable of delivering powerful, accurate audio, visually striking lighting and special effects, while remaining reliable and easy to manage. Above all, it needed to adapt quickly to the requirements of each event without having to rely on external rental equipment every time.

To support this evolution, ATLANTICO SRLS selected Audio Effetti as its technology partner for the supply of professional solutions covering audio, video, lighting, laser, special effects and control. The selected technologies have equipped Atlantico Eventi with a complete permanent infrastructure, designed to provide quality, operational flexibility and fast system management across the different event formats hosted by the venue.

The challenge

The client’s requirement was to transform Atlantico Eventi into a technologically advanced venue, able to deliver maximum operational flexibility, high-quality audio and video, dynamic and customisable lighting designs, as well as centralised and simplified management of the entire system.

The main challenge was to integrate different systems — audio, video, lighting and special effects — into a cohesive installation, while providing operators with a single control platform capable of managing every component accurately and efficiently.

The venue also needed to transition quickly from a conference to a live show, from a ceremony to an artistic production, without requiring complex interventions or extensive system reconfigurations.

The solution

For the development of the new system, ATLANTICO SRLS integrated a selection of state-of-the-art professional solutions supplied by Audio Effetti, combining dedicated systems for audio, video, lighting, effects and control.

For the audio system, a Harmonic Design configuration was installed, with six HLS20P Hybrid Line Source loudspeakers providing the main coverage. Four Infra218 subwoofers handle the low-frequency range, delivering powerful, visceral impact while maintaining control even during the most energetic live shows.

 

Five MP12N multifunction loudspeakers complete the system, providing sound reinforcement for the side areas and zones requiring dedicated coverage. The entire installation is powered by four QT12 DSP/FIR amplifiers from the same brand, while a digital audio matrix with Dante control and a touch panel enables centralised, intuitive management of signals, levels and routing.

For the video system, an EGO Display EasyHP P2.5 LED wall was installed together with auxiliary displays integrated into the centralised system. Managed via a Novastar VX1000 Pro processor, the setup delivers high image quality and flexible layout configuration, making it possible to adapt graphics quickly to the requirements of different event formats.

 

The lighting section was designed to deliver dynamic, highly customisable looks. The lighting system includes eight Briteq BTI-BLIZZARD BSW2 IP65 moving heads, twelve 150 W Mac Mah Mac Beam 150 LED fixtures, twenty Mac Mah Mac 1915Z RGBW wash fixtures, four motorised evolite Pro Thunder Kolor Set IP65 strobe/wash units and ten BoomTone ColorPIx LED bars with 24 × 3 W RGB LEDs. The setup is further enhanced by two 10 W Laserworld PL-10 lasers from the Purelight series, enabling high-impact graphic and volumetric effects. Two evolite HazeBox 1500 hazers complete the visual design, enhancing light beams, laser effects and immersive atmospheres.

Control of the entire lighting and effects system is handled by an intelligent control network, with the Avolites Quartz lighting console serving as the operational core of the setup. Visual Productions CueCore3 architectural controllers and MADRIX NEBULA Art-Net/sACN nodes, together with DMX network interfaces, make it possible to automate lighting looks, effects and dedicated presets for the venue’s different event formats.

The results

The final result has transformed Atlantico Eventi into a technologically advanced and highly competitive venue. The Harmonic Design audio system delivers uniform sound coverage for corporate events, while providing the high sound pressure levels required for live performances. The EasyHP P2.5 LED wall creates a strong visual impact, combining sharp images with flexible content management, while the versatility of the lighting system makes it possible to create dynamic, immersive lighting designs adaptable to any format, from conferences to artistic productions.

The centralised control platform allows operators to manage the entire installation with ease, reducing preparation times and improving operational efficiency. Atlantico Eventi can now host a wide range of events without relying on external rental companies, offering end users an engaging experience with the quality standards expected from today’s most modern event and entertainment venues.
