In the latest video on our Audio Effetti Stream channel, product specialist Michael Leonessa explains the differences between the Pixelhue P20 and P20-DS models.
Michael highlights how the upper card sets the two units apart: the P20 features 4 SDI inputs with LOOP, fiber outputs, and analog connections, while the P20-DS introduces significant innovations.
The first is the integration of the Dante 32x32 chipset, which allows unified management of audio and video, reducing the need for cables and DI boxes, improving signal matching, and minimizing the risk of transmission errors. The second is related to the SDI outputs: instead of loop outs, the P20-DS provides 4 outputs that replicate the primary signals, increasing operational flexibility.
For existing P20 owners, an upgrade path to P20-DS is also available, making it possible to take advantage of the new features without replacing the entire unit.
