In the latest video on the Audio Effetti Stream channel, our video product specialist Michael Leonessa introduces Pixelhue EP Series, the new range of HDMI-over-fiber transmitters and receivers designed to deliver maximum efficiency in professional video signal management.

The series includes two models: EP4, featuring four HDMI 2.0 inputs and four outputs, and EP2, a transceiver equipped with two HDMI ports. Both models support three operating modes:
- Point-to-point fiber transmission, enabling direct links between FOH and stage;
- Decoding of fiber signals from Pixelhue units such as P20, P10, or Q8, handling both 4K and Dual Link video streams;
- Direct transmission to Novastar controllers, ensuring full compatibility with 4K and Dual Link configurations.
The two versions are fully interoperable, allowing for flexible mixed setups (for example, pairing one EP4 with two EP2 units) to suit different system requirements. Both models are available in single-mode or multi-mode variants, with SFP modules pre-installed for straightforward and reliable deployment.
