The "X" indicates an additional component that Appotronics integrates to further broaden the light spectrum: it may include elements such as phosphors or LEDs and is part of the company's proprietary know-how. The triple laser source minimizes speckle, broadens the light spectrum, and guarantees significantly superior color fidelity compared to single-laser architectures, offering more saturated colors, a particularly rich red (≥ 22%), and ideal visual performance for creative content with high color sensitivity.

The projector uses a 0.8" DLP chip with 4K+ resolution (3840 × 2400) and a brightness of 25,000 – 26,000 lumens (center), ensuring extremely bright, sharp, fringing-free images with a level of detail that surpasses any 3LCD projector in the same brightness range.
